BibleOnWeb is a personal “retirement project” to create a “purpose built” website as a resource for small group bible discussion. Objectives of the project include:-

  • making key insights, often provided through a bible college program, available in a way that is straightforward, clear and very accessible.
  • no cost to participants.
  • more informed discussion.
  • better understanding of the bible’s message.

Created by David Cowan, this resource is being evaluated and developed through a number of small group trials.

David has worked as a Civil Engineer, Business Manager, Project Manager and Bible College Administrator. He spent a number of years in Africa serving with the Salvation Army and during his time working for a respected interdenominational Bible College, has coordinated a regional certificate program for church lay leaders throughout South Australia.

David is a member of the Salvation Army. The project is inter-denominational.

The concept is designed to be attractive, easily understood and accessible for the everyday reader. The adoption of a considered approach has involved the creation of clear, easily understood topics using respected sources, the systematic (hierarchical) arrangement of these topics on a web site AND facilitating small group discussion.

This is a work in progress. The web site is under constant development and changes to the topic material are made as feedback is received. Although the web site is accessible to participants, it is not meant to be publicly available and will not appear on any search engine.
